On Friday, the California State Bar announced our law clerk, Scot Gauffeny, passed the July 2024 Bar exam on his first try. We are thrilled but not surprised. (The Bar’s passage rate this year was 53.8%.)
Scot has been an invaluable member of our Turner Law team since his third year at Loyola Law School and has already played a crucial role in numerous important cases, providing exceptional research, drafting, and client support. His deep understanding of legal principles and meticulous attention to detail have greatly contributed to the success of our firm — and our clients. Scot has been working at Turner Law full-time while waiting for his results. We’re looking forward to him being sworn in as an attorney soon.
In addition, we are proud to share that that also passing the recent Bar Examination is our former legal assistant, Daniel Partiyeli who graduated from Hastings Law School (which is now known as the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco) this past spring. Daniel’s talent was quickly evident throughout his time with us, and we are excited to see him embark on this new chapter in his legal career in tax law at an international accounting firm. Daniel thanks his tenure at Turer Law for preparing him for law school and passing the Bar exam on the first try.
